The Volkan 400 IV mobile system is a medium capacity incinerator offering the complete solution for the disposal of invasive vegetation. All models in the Volkan Range are supplied with integral secondary chambers and fully conform to EU Regulations and in accordance to the Environment Agency’s requirement guidelines for the safe disposal of non-native plants.
Designed, engineered and manufactured at our Worcester production facility in the UK the Volkan 400 IV mobile system is used nationwide by professionals providing customers with an effective and proven management solution of non-native plants such as Japanese Knotweed. Classed as ‘controlled waste’ under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 many non-native plants cannot be disposed of by composting or burial. Practical to manage, the Volkan 400 IV mobile system is both biosecure and environmentally friendly. The Volkan 400 IV can also be supplied as a static model.

With its low capacity status, the Volkan 400 IV generally requires no planning permission for farm or light industrial usage however it is advised that due to the nature of this waste you should consult with your local environmental agency for guidance on their specific requirements.
